| NNI History |
| The history of Nalge Nunc International touches many countries,
companies, and individuals. The Nalge Company was founded in 1949, and Nunc in 1953
(an ocean away, in Denmark). The two merged in 1995, two years after Nalge joined up
with I-CHEM Research of
Delaware. The rich history of NNI also includes National Scientific and LIDA.

| 1997 |
| NNI acquires Lida Manufacturing Corporation and moves the operation
to Rochester. Sybron announces a record year.

| 1998 |
| Verner Andersen is promoted to President of NNI. NNI acquires
In Vitro Scientific Products, Inc. of
St. Louis, Missouri, a producer of roller bottles and packaging
containers used in biological production facilities to manufacture vaccines,
pharmaceuticals and other reagents. In Vitro products are consolidated into the
NNI offering. Pacofin Intersep Filtration Products (Vaduz, Liechtenstein) is
acquired - a manufacturer of biomedical
filtration products. All laboratory companies within Sybron are consolidated
under one group, Sybron Laboratory Products.

| 1999 |
| Sybron International Corporation completes the sale of
Nalge Process Technologies Group, Inc. of New Jersey to Norton Performance
Plastics Corporation. Robert Ahlgren is named President of NNI US. Verner
Andersen is promoted to Group President of Labware & Life Sciences Group.

| 2000 |
| The Versi-Dry product line of National Packaging Services
Corporation, Green Bay, Wisconsin is acquired. These absorbent pads are used in
research and industrial
labs to absorb and contain chemicals and other spills in the lab. Another
acquisition is Genevac Limited of Ipswich, England, a designer and
manufacturer of specialty evaporators
used in chemical, agrochemical and biotechnology labs for drug discovery and
other chemical related applications.

| April 24, 2000 |
| Sybron Laboratory Products Corporation announces that
it will merge into Sybron International
Corporation. Sybron International will begin doing business as Apogent
Technologies. The dental products line spins off into a separate company,
Sybron Dental Specialties.

| December 12, 2000 |
| Common
stock begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the new symbol
"AOT", replacing the old "SYB". Sybron Dental Specialties
stock begins trading under "SYD".

| 2001 |
| At the shareholders annual meeting, the name change is formalized to Apogent
Technologies Inc. NNI receives top awards from two major distributors.

| March 12, 2002 |
| To maximize efficiency and response to its customers, Nalge Nunc International announces it will consolidate all of its I-CHEM operations into its sister company Chase Scientific Glass in Rockwood, TN. Sales and marketing responsibilities for I-CHEM remain in Rochester, NY.

| April 2, 2002 |
| Bob Ahlgren promoted to Group President, Apogent Labware and Life Sciences. Craig Jack named President, Research Group, assuming responsibility for Nalge US, Nalge UK, National Scientific Company and Glass and Plastic Labware LLC. Gordon Hamnett named Vice President and General Manager of National Scientific Company.

| Nalge Nunc International launches four new websites: www.nalgenunc.com; www.NALGENElabware.com; www.NALGENEpackaging.com and www.ICHEMbrand.com to provide product and technical date for each of its product lines in various markets.

| Pall Corporation agrees to supply Supor machV membranes to Nalge Nunc International, who will exclusively use Pall's newest proprietary membrane in its line of NALGENE® MF75™ filter units and bottle top filter.

| Nalge Nunc International announces it will acquire Pactech, a Rochester, NY-based leader in innovative and engineered solutions to challenging packaging needs.

| Fisher Scientific International announces it will acquire Apogent Technologies.

| Fischer Scientific International and Apogent Technologies complete their merger.

| Thermo Electron Corporation and Fisher Scientific International announce they will merge to form Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.

| June 16, 2006 |
| Nalge Nunc International launches ecommerce capabilities to its Nalgene Labware and Nunc Brands websites serving the North American markets.

| November 9, 2006 |
| The merger between Thermo Electron Corporation and Fisher Scientific International is completed. Employees prepare to celebrate Day One of the new merged corporation.

| Thermo Fisher Scientific - Nalgene and Nunc Marketing Groups in Rochester, NY are honored with top marketing awards from its top customer channel partners, Fisher Scientific and VWR.
